Daily Habits is what we believe will separate you from your competition. It is often noted from some of the most successful entrepreneurs that you must set a goal and create a daily routine to complete such goal. No matter how big or small set some daily habits that will put you ahead of your expectations.

We decided to build a head start list and kick things off with suggested daily habits that will get you towards your end goal.

1. Read 10 pages per day

This will help consume information quickly over time. Think about it, if you set time aside to read at least 10 pages of a thought provoking book that is 200 pages. It will only take you twenty days to complete it. Put this habit in your everyday bank and see the returns come in gradually.

2. Exercise before your day begins

It has been often noted by the great Arnold Schwarzenegger that you should begin your day with a workout to get your blood pumping. This workout can with or without weights; even yoga is a good start to your day. Exercising in the morning can mentally prepare you for your day as well as physically.

3. Leave your ego at the door

Major KEY! Studies have shown one of the biggest downturns in a company or partnership is having too big of an ego. Remain humble and give yourself a humility check at the door before life gives you one.

4. Give yourself a break

Rome was not built in one day, so we shouldn’t get frustrated if our goals aren’t coming fast enough. Patience will always be key in any journey. See it through.

5. Cater to your relationships daily

In a world full of hustle and bustle we often forget what matters most to us. Sure, the money and glorious lifestyle is all fun, but it will never stay fun if you live it alone. Use your free time to reach out to a friend or family member that you have not spoken to in a while.

6. Keep an open mind

We all make plans and we have to be understanding when things happen. Be able to laugh when adversity comes and knocks you off of your square. You will only be good as your last mistake.

7. Simplify your wardrobe

We often waste much of our morning time trying to decide what to wear. Successful entrepreneurs are most known for keeping things simple so they can use that brainpower to focus on other things.

8. Practice setting daily goals

“If today were the last day of your life, would you want to be doing what you’re doing? If the answer is no too many days in a row, then it’s time to make a change.”

This excerpt came from Steve Jobs commencement speech at Stanford University.  If you continue to practice setting goals whether big or small you’ll always yes when asking yourself this question.

9. Urgency

When you’re on any mission idle time is crucial. Practicing getting things done now, not later. The saying goes don’t put things off for tomorrow that you can do today. Make the days count!

10. Stop being a perfectionist all the time

Great things take time. Sometimes if you can’t figure out what that project is missing more often than not its ready to go. Have faith and believe in yourself.

11. Wake up early

Everyday day try to wake up at least two hours before your first appointment/job of the day. Waking up this early gives you a chance to plan your day and get a quick workout in before it’s time for your work commute.
