Audi has revealed the new e-Tron and we are here to bring you all the inside scoop. It will be a mid-sized 5 seater crossover with plenty of room for your gear. 193 inches long and 76.3 inches wide makes it only slightly smaller than the new Q5.
It will feature a two-tier battery pack that will make its run longer and weigh 1,543 pounds itself. Audi claims that the weight is an even 50/50 split throughout the whole of the vehicle. The e-Tron will have two motors, one powering the front will be a 181 horsepower motor and the one powering the rear will be 221 horsepower.
It features seven driving modes that Audi claims “comfortable, though efficient” to “distinctively sporty.” The e-Tron’s electric Quattro all-wheel drive system can change the torque based on weather and road surface or whenever the driver requests more power than the rear motor can supply. With electric cars, torque can come basically instantly and with this crossover the speed shows, going 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph.
Audi has already set the base price at $75,795 for the Premium Plus trim level, which features:
- 20-inch wheels with all-season tires
- Overhead view camera system
- Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert
- Full LED lighting
- Navigation,
- 705-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system with 16 speakers
- Leather upholstery
- 12-way heated and cooled front seats
- Panoramic sunroof

- Head-up display
- More active-safety features
- Massaging seats
- Soft-close doors
- Rear-window sunshades
- Higher-end leather
- Air ionizer
