What is your company and what is its main goal?

We’re a martech company that helps advertisers identify audiences and deploy integrated marketing campaigns. Since launching in 2003, we’ve had 15,000 users distribute hundreds of million of ads from our platform. This has placed Taradel on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for 12 straight years. At the end of the day, our mission is to make targeted marketing easy.

When did you start your business and why?

I started the business in October of 2003. I had three reasons to do so. First, I had developed a concept at my previous employer that they passed on, so I decided to go off on my own and make it happen. Second, I realized the only way I could work the way I wanted to, was to work for myself. Lastly, I wanted an environment where I could create and try things without anyone else in my way.

What makes you different from your competition?

Our people and our tech. First and foremost, you’ll never find people that work harder to make you successful. On the tech side, we build world-class marketing tools that increase the reach and lifespan of every marketing dollar you invest. Our competitors still operate manually for the most part — which perpetuates inefficiency, long turnarounds, higher costs, and less accuracy. Marketing is data-driven these days, so our platform is far superior in that regard.

What marketing channels do you use for your growth?

We practice what we preach — so we use a healthy mix of channels. We’ve spent more than $3M on Paid Search, YouTube, Facebook, and direct mail since launching. Content is huge for us, too. We produce a ton of original content and use it for everything from awareness to lead nurturing. You can never produce too much engagement-oriented content.

What are you expected to grow in terms of revenue in the next 12 months?

We expect revenue to grow about 50% in 2020 through strategic partnerships and new product deployments.
